the back doors in my '01 quad cab have gradually been harder and harder to open til now they're at the point where they will not open at all. anyone know what's up with this?
what have you been using to lube them with? mine were very hard to open when i bought it, but some pb blaster got the open, and white lithium spray keeps them opening.
The latches are what i was referring to. When i bought it mine stuck closed so bad you basically needed to climb up and kick them open. Unless the hinges are really sagged out, it could just be that the latches are stuck up with grime. Try soaking them both (top and bottom) with a good penetrating oil, or penetrent plus lube.
