I am going to be installing a GDP wastegate on my truck and I need to relocate my H&S pyro from the rear EGR block off plate. Can I tap the tube for the wastegate or do I need to tap the manifold? Putting it in the wastegate would be nice because I will be able to clean all the shavings out? Is the tube thick enough? How accurate would the readings be? Thanks

I wouldnt think you would get accurate readings because the gasses wont flow through the wastegate until you hit a certain (high) pressure. Just put it in the mani above the turbo.. its really not difficult.. use a sharp bit, tap slow with cutting oil WITH the trcuk running for both.. 15 mins and done
