Can anyone tell me how this morning I was able to fit 35.6 gal of fuel into my 34 gal tank? I don't have the vent mod, and fuel was not coming up the filler neck. I was low, not running on fumes, and definately not running on negative!
My owners manual says for the 2004.5 the short box has 34 gal tank and the long box has 35. Here is the problem with stopping the pump at 10 gal and checking the price... if they are shorting you they are only putting in say 9.5 gallons when the pump reads 10. The dollar thing moves in unison with the gallon thing, and doesn't know that the pump is putting in less than the 10 gallons it is saying it is. There really is no way for average Joe to know that when the machine says 10 gallons have gone into the tank, it is actaully 10 gallons.
