whats the damage on something like that? If you dont mind me asking? A buddy and I thinking about going into buisness. Its crazy that companies make these processors for 300-600 bucks and sell them for 2500+.

the 150 is $6K the 190 is about $8500 and the 380 is $12+

150=40 gal
190=50 gal
380=100 gal

mine will pay for it self in less than 1 yr at current diesel prices. with my wife driving a diesel VW my CTD

i did a ton of research before making my choice.

and im pretty sure that any processor that is $2500+ can be made for 300-600 bucks. you cant even buy the cone tanks for that.

check out biodieselwarehouse.com and utah biodiesel supply

See here is the problem, biodieselwarehouse and utah supply is where everyone is buying their biodiesel supplies, which of course is going to drive the price of these parts up.

Personally I built my whole processor (which I can email you pictures of) for about a 100 bucks. The only thing I payed for was the pump and fittings. The cone drums that people are paying 500+ for I get for free. Also i get 55 gallon steel or HDPE plastic for free. Im not trying to brag, Im just trying to figure out what I could sell these things for. I can build a whole setup in just a few hours. What do you guys think would be a reasonable price for a home built set up similar to the "fuel miester?"

Cost of materials plus labor. I'd love to buy a pre built kit (not quite sure I trust myself on building my own) but I'm not spending $2000 for $300 worth of parts. Even at $100/hr in labor to build it, your still looking at less than $1000.

I would love to get a biopro but it's way out of my league. You guys are fortunate to own one.

well i didnt just jump in and buy one on day 1

i did a ton of research and put a lot of thought into it before buying one. for me with it being in my garage and also being stainless steel was a big plus and no titration test(the extra equipment and stuff) again space is limited in my garage. if i had a shop or a shed out back it would be different but i dont.

Same here Tex. I wish I would have known we have a vendor here that is a BIO-Pro Dealer. I ordered from Graydon at Utah Bio Diesel. My 190 arrived yesterday. I'm waiting on my acid to arrive tomm. I've got 150 gallons of oil so far.
Good luck with your 150. A little more hands on but still a good quality unit. I couldn't believe the build quality and all that 304 stainless steel!:thumbsup
