I started getting this message every time I start my truck. When I checked the manual,it says I should get my dpf and egr looked at. I don't have dpf and egr is unplugged. So does anybody out there know how I get rid of this? According to the owner's manual, this message comes on after a set amount of miles, not anything to do with sensors. Any ideas?

"perform Service" is a reminder to service(replace) the CCV filter and clean the EGR.
To reset follow directions carefully
Turn key to on, do not start.
Step on brake pedal fully 2 times.
fully depress gas pedal 2 times.
turn key off. Last part is optional
go into house, drink six pack of favorite beer.
fall asleep while watching game,
wake up in the morning, truck will be fine.

Make sure your ccv filter isn't actually plugged off, mine did the same thing on the highway a couple weeks ago and when I cracked to oil fill cap with it running it sounded like opening a beer that had been rolling around the floor for the day...and if you go to buy a filter check with a fleetgaurd distributor first, will probably be way cheaper the going to dodge...Oh and my truck had 80,000km(50,000miles) when the message came on.
