#1. No Air Dog... Got it.

#2. As I read, the key to longevity is quality lift pump, and premium filtration.

With that being said, can you buy a PREMIUM filter for the OE housing, that combined with the DRP from FASS will provide the best filtration plus fuel pressure to feed the VP?

Logic behind the question is DRP = 250.00 or so. **
Full FASS is 620.00 or so. **
That $400.00 would go along way towards other items.

Goals for truck are daily driver, torque for towing and MPG. No tractor pulls or drag racing.

**pricing is off FASS site as of 12/9/14

Injectors, maybe up to 150 on the high side, and a box, down the road. Short term is head gasket, rings, and rod bearings. I don't see a need for a turbo any time soon. The power bug may bite me, but it will will be quite a while down the road. Truck will be used for some hot shot deliveries here an there. Goal is TQ and mileage.

You will want a Fass 95 or 150. A DRP is basically just for a stock truck.

I'd suggest the 150, just because it's not much more than the 95 and will have plenty of room to grow with

I use a Purolator fuel filter inside the stock canister.
