Power Puck + Fooler = codes??

I have been running my Power Puck for about 1.5 years on the 60 setting with no problems. About 2 months ago I added a Quad Boost Fooler. I noticed yesterday that it was a little harder to start than normal. Today an idiot light came on and threw two codes, p0191 and p0193. Truck was running rough and cutting out. Pulled over, shut it down, and unplugged the puck/fooler. Truck is running fine after that. I have never been able to get my fuel pressure below 6psi, and on 60 setting is consitantly at 15psi. Has anyone had this problem, and if so....any advice? Needless to say I am not runnning anything until I learn more. Thanks in advance.

I heard you should run a boost fooler with a plug in module. I believe it says on the Quad's web site. Just my thought. Mybe some one might know a little more.
I saw that too, so I called and talked to Quad. They said that it would be fine to use w/ the puck
I have been holding off on getting one on mine because of that statement on the site.
Well, needless to say I am not going to run them together again. I am going to get the codes cleared, and see if it still does it. I think I will go with a Smarty Jr. when the funds become available. :$:
I have been thinking of ditching the Dr.P and adding the fooler. I should be ok with that. Not really sure if I should do it or not. I would like more boost and keep both, but dont wont trouble..
Did you plug the fooler before or after the Puck?

IMO, don't spend the money on a boost fooler unless you are running an aftermarket turbo.

FWIW, my puck started running rough awhile back. Turns out I accidently pulled a wire out of the plug....

Plugged the fooler in after the puck just like Quad told me. All the wires on the puck are fine. Hasn't been touched since I put the fooler on.
P0191 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
P0193 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input

Hate to break it to ya, but it has nothing to do with the fooler....

That is what I figured, but thought that it could be a problem w/ the combo. It may just be a bad sensor too. Will know if code comes back I guess.
How much boost were you getting before and after adding the fooler?

There have been a few threads lately that say that the Puck does not boost fool. So you should run cooler and have more power with the fooler.

I have that set-up on mine and no problems here. The connection may be loose or a wire has pulled out.
I have been running that set up for almost a year with no problems.
Boost before fooler would top at about 37-38. Hit 40 with fooler. I think it may have ran a little cooler, but not too much. After unhooking everything check light went off and truck is still running fine......just a little gun shy now as I only have 47k miles on truck. Don't know for sure what the problem was yet.
Well... there is always that chance that the fooler went bad...:$:
Yeah, not sure. Don't want to blame either mod yet, espically since it took two months to happen. Have never had problems with the puck. I will have to double check all the connectors.
