I've always been told no, yet my boost fooler is worthless.......

Your boost fooler doesn't do anything for you?

Your never gonna belive me when I tell you this but everytime I put it on my power and smoke level drops all day long until it just plain stops smoking. We put it and another fooler on my buddys 04.5 with the same results. Its honestly spent 98% of its time in my glove box....
A boost fooler will keep your truck from Limping when the Puck is installed. We have seen manual G56 trucks go Limp when sled Pulling when using the Puck as a pressure adder, the Quad Fooler fixed that.

Stacking is an art, and it does not work the same on any two trucks

I run the quad boost fooler with my Smarty and Puck stack. Works great, not one issue ever.
The power puck alone does not act as a boost fooler. That was the first power adder I had on my truck and I thought that it worked very well. I dropped a full second in the 1/4 mi from 16.5 stock to 15.35 with it on the high setting. A buddy of mine has an '05 dually and he runs a DS Predator with the puck and also Boost Fooler and he typically runs 40-42 psi of boost WOT. We tried the boost fooler on his truck with no programmer and it did not really do anything without any additional fuel.

I would like to get a boost fooler but I guess on 03 early 04 CR's you need a adjustable boost elbow thingy

where do you get one?
i just ripped that stupid puck out of my truck and plan on smashin' it with a cat 992 loader!!! now i got a tick which i believe is coming from a worn out pressure relief valve. they are supposed to release at 26,500psi, and the puck can get pressures above that, once it happens, it's kind of like a circuit breaker that's been tripped too many times, and it will release at lower and lower pressure!

I have heard many times on here all trucks react differently to the same mods.

My truck likes the puck:thumbsup
i run the predator/puck on my truck. when i run the puck, i do hear some weird clickin or rattlin. with it off, it will every once in awhile.

Ebay is where I got mine. $19. I can now boost at 38psi.
