I have a 2004 3500 sra and I bought it like this with the power locks not working. Could someone tell me the problem? I understand it could be the power lock acuater or even a fuse, just wondering if it could be caused from something else

The door switch (especially the drivers) could be bad.
Would that cause the passenger switch to not work as well? I will mention that my window lock button sometimes wont work as in i unlock the windows so my fiance can roll her side down but it wont as if its still locked. Could this be the cause of the powerlock problem?

All window power goes through the drivers door so you can lock the windows from the drivers position.

That is a common issue, might not be related. There are solder contacts on the board that break, you can take the switch apart and fix it. Did you check the door jamb wires?
yes i checked the door jams for severed wires, everything looked good. So more than likely its the. Solder on the boardwalk?

I have had the problems with the rear wires in the jam breaking and have fixed them multiple times over the years.
Today, I had a new one....the drivers side lock will not operate - all other doors will lock/unlock with the fob and using the switch on the door, but not the drivers door. Any ideas?

Have you checked the driver door jam wires? How do you fix the door jam wiring? because my back driver side door doesn't unlock with the button I have to unlock it manually every time ( its annoying ) All my other doors work. Also if I go to the car wash an wash my truck it seems that my power locks get really week and stay that way for about a week, What could this be ( maybe some bare wires somewhere )?

I havent check the jam wiring in the drivers door yet; it doesnt look to be as simple as the rear door jam wiring. You probably have a broken wire in the loom and more than likely more broken wires to come....just disconnect the plug in the pillar and slide the loom back, you'll see whats wrong.

Had another broken wire today, passenger side rear door lock stopped working....checked the door jam loom and the wire was broke. Problem is, that wire has been broke a couple of times and I'm running out of original wire on either end.
What are we going to do when there isn't enough original wire to splice? That harness looks like a night are to remove and replace.
