I just got done with my conversion, i still have a few kinks to work out but im wondering what kind of power you guys think this baby will make, here is what ive do thus far.

370hp marine injectors, dodgezilla hybrid turbo, duel fuel pumps, #4 fuel plate slid all the way back, 220 laser cut delivery valves, 4k govenor springs, 03 intercooler, straight pipe 4", tuned injection pump and 18 degrees of timing.

I wanna get all the kinks worked out before I hit the dyno. I may be missing some info buts its late....

You mean .022 dvs? or laser cuts? By slid all the way back do you mean towards the cab? And what exactly does tuning the IP entail?

I'd guess 450 is possible with your setup, but it depends on tuning and specifics of the parts

laser cuts, all the way back meaning restricting fuel, and the Ip was tuned when I bought the motor, the guy who had it before me dropped if off with a diesel shop in my area and told me that they had tuned up? Not really sure what all was done, I have the number to the shop but Im waiting on the guy to get me the reciept so I can dig a little deeper.

one more question, With the mods that I have I would think this truck would smoke like a bandit, but nope. It barely smokes, I think thats actually a good thing but im kinda wanting to get a little more smoke.

its kinda hard to tell with a restrictive plate, but HUGE flowing DV's and 370's can dump some fuel too. Most hx-35/40 hybrids have the ability to keep about 400 hp in check. If its not smoking a whole lot i would guess that you are somewhere around the 400 hp mark maybe just under, in the high 300's. If you want more smoke just move your fuel plate forward a little bit more. If you let it flow some more fuel, ill bet you could get up around 450, but its going to get really hot, really fast like that though. If your going to over fuel it like that though, i would recommend adding a nice dosage of W/M along with it. That will help it stay just a tad cooler and add a nice little bit of power.

I also have the turbo watergate opening around 42 pounds of boost, (stock head gasket). I was thinking about moving the fuel plate all the way forward, doing the head gasket and having the head o-ringed. Then letting that turbo boost, Ive seen it hit 65pds but I know that the comapany I got it from wont warantee it above 50pds or something.

Keep the boost where its at. Much higher and you'll probably start loosing power.

Don't bother w/ water meth for a power adder, nitrous all the way. W/M will cool the EGTs, but not going to have a huge power gain. N2O should have booth with way more power.

Smoke level is not proportional to hp level in any way.

I agree 100% that nitrous is much better for adding power, however N2O is a HORRIBLE idea on an un-studed, stock head gasket. W/M is also cool because it is essentially free... $1.50/gal

This I know, I just wanted the truck to dump a little more smoke, I actually figured that with the light amount of smoke that I have the air/ fuel ratio is spot on. The reason I say that is smoke is cause from unburnt fuel correct? If I have little smoke that would mean that I am burning the right amount of fuel or most of the fuel entering the motor. Correct?

Studs are done but no gasket yet, I have a few things I wanna tinker with them im going to get the .20 head gasket (cant think of the company name off the top of my head) and have the head o-ringed.

Wrong on the black and unburnt... it is infact burnt but no fully, so it is Partially Burnt Fuel.

Unburnt Fuel is White in color
