I just installed 100 horse injectors in my truck at the beginning of Sept now I am getting popping through the exhaust it happens no matter what rpm or speed I am at I am running my smarty on it also it don't make a difference at what level it is on or if it is stock it will pop not wondering if I got a bad injector again in it any help would be awesome

fill in your sig. On the early cr too much timing will cause this using the smarty. Try turning down the timing seem worse on level #7.

It is an 04.5 so it isn't an older common rail but I will fill it out also I have a cts for gauages and my rail pressure don't drop on it when I get on it it will smoke but when it pops the smoke stops and then starts again

I doubt your rail pressure is sustainable with 100hp sticks and no cp3 or aftermarket fuel pump. I would assume it's either lack of fuel or to much timing, or both. Fill out your Sig or at least post your complete mod list.

It's an 04.5 all it has is a smarty s-o6 100 horse sticks 4 in turbo back exhaust and a cai that's it for mods

So to turn back timing I can just run the smarty on a even number correct? Also it was doing this when the smarty was set back to stock.

It's also got a built tranny also it is my dd so trying to get it back up and running soon don't wanna drive it with it popping like that dint need to hurts it

YOU NEED MORE RAIL PRESSURE!!! Upgrade your cp3....arson kit at a minimum!

Check you rocker arms. One of the bucket tips could have fallen off the rocker arm and, subsequently, the bridge can fall out of place.

sounds like the rockers weren't adjusted properly after the injector install.

I don't see it being a rail pressure issue due to lack of cp3. If its doing that at any rpm and speed then I'd assume something else. If the cp3 is that bad off then he'd noticed something before the injectors I'd believe. Now if it was only under heavier throttle and not under idle I could possibly see the cp3.
On my 03 I ran 100s with a stock 200,xxx mile pump with no issues, yeah rail wouldn't keep up but no popping or weird sounds.

It will do.it warm and running down the freeway at 70 with cruise on and flat ground I am going to pull the valve cover off and take a peak
