when i have my quad adr 4k turned up if you get on it and let off to quickly the turbo surges and i understand that is terrible, but i am trying to figure out what the other noise could be that it makes. It almost sounds like a backfire but it only does it on occasion not all the time. anyone ever had this before?

you can custom tune to have better drivability.. the 4k was meant for pulling..
hereis a video of the rev limiter at 3600rpm. if you keep the throtle steadty at 3000 it will do the same poping..its just surging i think you can always custom tune it to the way you like it!!

So, each injector has its own line right from the injector pump....couldn't it still be insufficiant fuel supply to the injection pump? Cause its only doing it when its turned up right?

Hey yall the problem is that the stock valve springs arent set up for the rpms that the 4k tune lets the truck run too that is why sometimes the websites where you buy it reccomend that you do a set of aftermarket valve springs.. whether or not it does any damage im not really sure but by the sound im sure it isnt good for the motor lol

thank you guys, i am running it on a low setting until i do more mods to support the box better. but i don't think it is at a very high rpm when it does it. ive also never reved the motor very high because of not having valve springs or a built trans

This is complete BS, it's not the valve springs it's the Quad4k! I had springs and mine did the same sh1t. Try again!

Actually it is the problem alot of the times on these trucks and as for you maybe your truck wouldnt do that if you werent a complete a**H*** .!
