I doubt it has anything to do with the EDGE, it is a module, not a programmer. It should have nothing to do with speedo/abs. If you want to know for sure, unplug the edge and return it to stock.
my guess is the sensor on your rear differential is the problem. make sure it is plugged in, check the wiring make sure its not cut somewhere. and if it looks fine, take it to the dealer and i bet they will replace it under warranty.
