myself and many others have had this code. i brought mine back to the dealer the cleaned it and i have never had it again. some people have done what i did but eventually had to replace the turbo. good luck
Yep, the dealer will attempt to clean it. If that doesn't work you will be getting a new turbo.
Yep they will clean the egr and the dpf system, reflash the ecm if their is an update and send you home. If it keeps happening then its new turbo time. But dont worry you to can be a member of the new turbo club like many of us :T:
I was going to take mine into the dealership and get the 2262 code taken care of, but they have about 8ft of water in the building now.
man i hope they don't void my warranty because of the mp-8.
Best advice would be to remove it - might save you the hassle of having to argue about it at the service desk.
Mine went back four times for cleaning before they finally agreed to install a new turbo. I hope the new one lasts more than 15K of the old one before it's full of soot. I'm really leaning on getting this emission crap off of my truck. I would take the TS off before going in.

I would just pull it off. They will have a hard time finding it. You should be able to leave the shimmed fuel relief valve.:thumbsup

:agree2: That's what I would do:thumbsup
Don't get too worried about the MP-8. Your not the only one with turbo problems and they'd have a hard time proving that your pressure box caused the problem. None the less take it off to eliminate the hassels.
thanks guys thats what im gonna do.
Does this code exist when the dpf and egr falls off? In other words, no egr, no dpf = no 2262 code?
me too. P2262 last year= new turbo. P2262 again this year = haven't told me what they are going to do. Said they won't know until the see what they find.
I'm taking my MP8 off also.
i like my mp-8 but i dont really trust it alot of people have had weird things happen while using the mp-8, but good news i talked to my dealer and they said not to worry about the chip they wont void my warranty because they install them there :thumbsup. so im taking my truck in the morning
pull the MP-8 and go get yourself a free brand new turbo :)
i wish i could find a way to get an aftermarket turbo under warranty :hyper: .... but i dont think that will ever happen :thud:
