Hey guys, so lets get right into it:

This started about 12 months ago but now its gotten bad. First what happened is like any ordinary day, I went to start my truck and found it completely dead. Dead as in the doors wouldn't even unlock when I pushed the unlock button on my fob. Popped the hood and found the drivers battery sulfated and passenger battery looking like normal. So I replaced both batteries and truck was back to normal. Keep in mind this was happening at above 0 temperatures so there was no cold yet. Anyways so what started happening is the voltage gauge would dip down to 12V and stay there and a red battery light would come on. This would go away after 3 or 4 minutes and keep coming back every 5 minutes while driving. This is with brand new batteries. I figured maybe the new batteries could be bad so I got them tested and they passed with flying colors. I put up with this for a while and I noticed my drivers negative cable started to corrode. So I replaced it with a new one. The problem with the voltage dipping down to 12V and the red battery light showing up didn't go away. And guess what, some months later, my drivers battery sulfated again.

This is beyond my skill. Please help. Im going crazy.

I think I would get the alternator tested. If I recall correctly, the first alt I had go bad would show around 12 volts and the battery light would come on intermittently.

Not sure if this would cause the issue with the battery or not.

If the rectifier has a bad diode the it puts ac voltage to the batteries and will cook them and could cause the terminals to corrode. Sounds like altinator time.
