I Recently Purchased An All Stock 06 Crew 4x4, Im looking Into Buying The Kore HP Series Lift This Time Instead Of Just Spacers Like My Last Truck Had. Im Wanting To Run 35"s On 20"s And Was Wondering If Anybody Had Any Pics Of There Trucks With This Lift And 35"s ?? Also How Much Lift Do You Gain Front And Rear ? Thanks !!

You'll get about 3'' of lift in the front and about 1.5'' in the rear.

This should give you an idea of what the stance will look like.

35x12.5x20

37x12.5x17

If you're looking at the KORE HP kit I would also look into the Carli starter kit if you want a better overall ride.

$670 for the Kore vs. $1375 for Carli. Ha! Its not worth the extra $. Same shocks used in both kits. Does carli really think their coils and mini packs are THAT much better. Sorry I don't buy it.

I am willing to bet you will be thrilled with the Kore kit, and the extra $700 in your pocket compared to the Carli. All the guys on this site love to love Carli, three years ago they loved to love KORE. Get what works in your budget and enjoy your truck!

That being said, Carli makes awesome stuff, just way too spendy for me.

Jims truck never fails to get me drooling!

Now sho him what a loaded out 2.65 kit looks like and I bet kore drops off the wish list!
Seriously, the OP asked about a $700 lift, and you think he might move up to a $5000 kit? I think you'd have better luck talkign him into the starter than the 2.65.

I know Bans ride isn't the starter:doh: But you said show him the 2.65 pics and Kore would no longer be on his wish list, I simply stated I doubt that. The Kore is priced right. Carli lives in a fantasy world with that price. For that price you could add arms to the Kore kit. Now the price of the 2.65 kit, I understand. The starter, nope, its way too high.

Not sure where anyone told him to get a 2.65 kit!

Ban was simply showing him the stance he should expect.... noone even suggested he go Carli!
Mega, reread the thread. Ban suggested he look at Carli starter if hes considering KORE. I know he was just showing him the stance, thats appreciated and valuable info to this thread.

As far as KORE coils rattling teeth out...do you have any firsthand experience with KORE? Or is your opinions based on your reserach and what others have told you?

Notice I just said take a look at the Carli starter kit. If I was looking to buy a KORE suspension kit I would look at Carli, Thruen and Lorenz and pick the best kit that fits my price range and performance needs. He never mentioned what his budget was so the Starter kit could very well be in his budget.

Carli uses end links vs crap drop blocks. Carli has WAY better riding front coils over Kore's stiff ones. Carli also uses a better riding 5 leaf mini pac over Kore's 4 leaf. As always you have to look at TOTAL cost. Kore has very expensive shipping so the end prices are much closer. On top of that you have Carli's superb customer service. For the extra money I'll take Carli. I know a few guys that went from Kore to Carli but NONE that went the other way.

Yes people were praising Kore years ago because they were the first massed produced suspension company for the dodge HD platform and since that time they have lost all their distributors and their owner would rather spend his time racing stock full than efficiently running his company. Carli has continued to develope new and better products while keeping customer satisfaction the #1 priority.

Yeah I "love to love" Carli but I've been around the offroad suspension industry long enough and spent enough of my hard earned money to want to do it right the first time and Carli has NEVER let me down...others have. :banghead: Heck Carli is going out of their way helping me fix other fabricator's mistakes and I've seen them do this on other customers trucks too.

Take a look at all the suspension companies, do research and pick the best kit that fits your needs and your budget and you'll be more than happy with your kit because you made an educated purchase.

yeah ...... i think its worth it the quality of parts (not the shocks) are the highest in the market bar none!

The only real stand out Kore has is there Billet towers. It is deffently not a pi$$ing match to each there own. I will just say R&D work and quality manufacturing cost money and it needs to be recouped.

ALSO I HAVE A WISH LIST THAT INCLUDES JESSICA ALBA AND TAYLOR SWIFT AT THE SAME TIME!!!! Does that mean im going to try to put effort into obtaining that?

wasnt trying to start or suggest anything the op never asked for suggestions. sorry if it sounded like it.

IMHO the carli starter IS twice the product the Kore HP series is.

That comes from rides in a stiff A$$ Kore truck. Spring rates (do not have the info present so go ahead and blast me on that) and what MANY MANY other gripe about.

Like i say if you love Kore more power to you man....

I have expirienced rides in both a Kore HP and a Carli started and will tell you there is a huge difference.

Maybe its beacuse Carli works directly with Bilstien on getting the right shocks under there trucks (not even sure if they use the same 5100's) or if it is the coils..(that are harder initially than Carlis) but the Carli ride is much better....

Gotcha. I 100% agree, if your looking at Kore, take a look at Carli, Lorenz, Thuren, etc.

I guess i took it wrong. I am so used to guys immediately bad mouthing Kore and praising Carli.

It hasn't been all good with my experiences from Kore, I think I mentioned in another thread I had my shox revalved cause Kore had them way too stiff. The coils, I have had no problems with. My truck rides great. I will say, I sold my 06 with the Kore chase on it, and it never lived up to the hype that sold me on it. Never rode as good as I expected it to. My 08 rides way better.

I do agree, Carli has some nice parts compared to Kore, and I have some onf them on my truck. Carlis ressi mounts are WAY nicer. Kores are a joke. Carlis links like you stated, way better than Kores drop blocks.

I haven't ever looke dinto shipping through the KOre store on their suspensions, but I know what you mean about shipping. Tried to order toyos from them, and the price became outrageous due to shipping!

All that being said, I still think Kore is apretty darn good value for a level or mild lift.

Gotcha. Then I respect your input. again all too often on the internet you get guys just posting information they have heard or read and never first hand experienced...sorry assumed you were doing that. If they are that good, perhaps I should look into a set of their coils. I wonder if they will make a difference w/o switchign to their shocks as well.

I don't love KORE. I think its on low end of the premium suspensions, if that makes sense. No way I would buy another Kore chase, I'd do Carli in a heart beat. BUT.....no way I would buy the Carli starter, I'd do KORE HP before that.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and your intentions.
