Hey guys Im going to upgrade from my hx35. Ive got my options narrowed down to the Phatshaft Silver 62mm, Aurora 4000 63mm, the HE351VE holset 60mm. Im just looking for a few opinions on the turbos above! Every website/company claims that their turbo spool the hardest and fastest but i would like to know some real world results. I know they aren't exactly the same but relatively close! To the people that own one of the turbos, how well, and how much do they spool?

Im not asking you to choose a turbo for me, i'm lookings for opinions. What your thoughts are on the turbos. Im going for a mild 400 to 450. I usually pull some sort of trailer with it and its also a daily driver. So use it for the same things, just a bit more power.

They make an adapter for it and fleece made a controller for it. Not sure if they still make it. Thats why i considered it an option. Isnt the cw vgt too?

I have the 62/65/12 from industrial. It's a great all around turbo! Spools right at 1500 rpm and pushes 50lbs of boost with 7x.009 and a tst/smarty stack. It works perfect for towing and all around performance
The silver would probably spool slower but you're higher RPM egt's would be a bit cooler.

aurora 4000 would spool slower than the others, he351ve would spool the fastest i would think, are you trying to find a turbo to match your injectors?

Yeah, i dont want something thats incredibly laggy since my injectors are pretty small. Thats what i most concerned about.

I believe the new Aurora 4000 would be your best bet. I think it's a 63/68/.85 T3. The silver 62 would be a dog with the 80/73 turbine that it uses.

Why are you set on the silver 62? The regular phatshaft would pair nicely with those sticks, give you almost stock spool, and you can easily push it to 450hp
