Since I've owned by truck and when it was still under warranty these issues have persisted. It has spent over a month in the shop due to these and other issues. I literally had to buy another vehicle to drive because my truck is always in the shop. Most of the issues are resolved now but these two persist beyond the truck's warranty despite multiple attempts at fixing them. I bought the truck with 23,000 miles and within the first month had it at the shop for these. It now has 48,000 miles on it, is still doing it, and I've owned it for about 8 months. Mainly wondering if anyone else has had anything similar?

1. Front windows constantly have to be re-trained for no apparent reason. It won't happen for weeks at a time and then suddenly will happen 4 times a day. There used to be some sort of resistance in the driver window track but they replaced that, made it smooth, and it still happens. This seems to become more common the more I drive the truck. For instance, if I let it sit for a week it won't happen for about a week of driving. But by about 3 or 4 weeks of driving it it is happening almost every day multiple times/day.

2. Sometimes the a/c will not blow at all when the truck is first started. There is literally nothing you can do to make it work. You can max the fan knob out or leave it on auto, jack the temp all the way up or down, nothing. Shutting the truck down and re-starting doesn't help. This happens for 10-15 minutes at which point it just explodes and turns on at random, at which point all is fine again for another few weeks until it happens again. This is obviously a computer issue to my mind because, once it starts working, all mechanical components work fine.

If anyone has heard of these or possible resolutions I'd greatly appreciate it because my dealership obviously has no clue how to fix them. I'm dropping it off again on Mon. I'm sure they'll have it for a few weeks again.

My driver window does the same thing but seems better if it rains and water gets down in the track. Mine has been like that since I bought it in 2013

My driver window is worse than the passenger but both do it.

Also, sometimes I get the "Key FOB is not in the vehicle" message even when it is in the vehicle. This most commonly occurs when the passenger opens their door. Only shutting the truck down and re-starting it resets the message. The passenger re-opening their door and closing it again doesn't resolve anything. And yes, I have changed my FOB battery like 5 times since I've owned the truck.

Dealership claims they've scanned both my FOB's for signal strength and they check out fine.

I never had the key fob problem. "YET"
Yes my passenger window does it as well but nowhere near as bad as driver side

Dealership has had my truck the past few weeks. They say they aren't able to duplicate the concerns. This doesn't surprise me as they are random. I'm honestly at the point where I'm ready to trade the truck in and never buy RAM again.
