i am hoping you guys can help. me on a good recipe for my 95 5.9. its 100% stock at the moment. i would like to get about 400 hp 800 tq out of it. tranny is a 47 rh i just freshend up with good parts also a trans go kit for the vb.single disk billet converter. i am thinking 17.5 timming,90 hp injectors,191dv, studs& gasket valve springs,fuel plate, fuel pump ( pusher ) gov spring kit, big air filter and 4 exh. not sure about the turbo. am i going in the right direction ? you can easily get to 400hp without 191s. do you wanna get there on budget or can you spend a little extra. also do you tow? if so how much. on budget you could grind your plate to a #100, afc forward, starwheel cranked, 3gsk, 370 injectors or edm yours, htt 60mm turbo upgrade, 16.5* or so timing, BHAF or something similar, farmboys 4-5" exhaust. and dont forget gauges. i recommend them to +10hp over stock trucks. boost, pyro, trans temp.

thanks for the reply cummins35.9s, always on a budget but i wont compromise quality or depedability. the deal is i am redoing the whole truck for a driver to keep some of the mi off my 2006. i do tow under 8000lb. i am a mechanic . i have had my own bus. for about 18yrs. i can do all this stuff with ease i just wnt to put a nice powerfull package so i get it done the first time. i know alot of you have done what i am trying to do so your better educated in this than me. i dont want to buying parts that will not work . i can mod my fuel plate i made my own exh. 4" single stack. was the package i spoke about in the first thred tow much ?

its not bad at all. just the delivery valve would be a little overkill for the 400hp mark. and they would build excessive heat without an expensive turbo to keep them in check. 800+ had been made on stock DVs. if you curious about plate modding just take off the afc housing, pull the plate and have at it with a die grinder. make it look similar to a pic on the cumminsforum(#100). go on ebay and get the penascola injectors. they are like $204 for a new set of 90ish hp. you got the exhaust. make an intake from pvc and plumbing pipe from home depot and paint it black. buy a BHAF that is used on big semis and commercial trucks. or i would recommend an amsoil nanofiber because they are a dry flow lifetime filter and you would only need to buy it once. go on the high tech turbo website and look at their stage 3or4 upgraded(60mm 6 fin) compressor. or if you have a connection on a s300 that would work too. ask the cumminsforum sponsors how much for a 3000rpm governor spring kit and take it to a shop and have them install it and do the timing advance. hope this helps.:thumbsup

THANKS, i am hoping to get this done in a week or two. its tieing up the shop.a nd the front clip is off so now is the time to tke care of all that it may need.
