I have a 2007 5.9 my passenger brake light just went out one day and I can’t find the problem. I have changed bulbs I’ve changed sockets nothing has worked for me. Drivers side everything works fine but passenger side I have no brake light and my blinker is fast. Running lights and everything work fine however. I had a test light and started checking the brake wire making my way to the TIPM from the back of the truck. The wire is completely dead. Does anyone know if this is for sure a bad TIPM? Is also doesn’t ding or let me know that there is a lamp out. I’ve had a few other electrical issues but not sure if that’s also related to the TIPM. Sometimes my rpm gauge likes to mess up and not too long ago my fuel gauge was showing I had a tank and a half lol.

Not sure if your ‘07 is the same as me ‘03, but there are separate fuses in the under hood box for the left and right brake/turns.

Which wire did you trace, fused B+ or the brake switch lamp output? Any B codes (body codes, BXXXX)? Not sure how much of the MY06 wiring diagrams carried over to the early build 07's but if they are similar, the wiring does make its way back to the TIPM via several connectors and splices. Check any trailer wiring too, check all grounds....If the diagrams carry over between MY's, grounds G104 and 106 on the LF fender, top side, should be checked.

There are actually no splicings also both brake lights only use one fuse under the hood. I have read somewhere in the forums that if you put led lights on one of these trucks it could mess them up and I was thinking that it maybe have started around the same time I installed my leds. I grabbed my scan tool and checked for codes the tipm had 8 codes in it. I cleared it and somehow everything started working again. Thank you guys for suggestions
