Ok Im so mad!! I bought my truck and on the test drive it threw a code P2123 Pedal would work only cruise control. Oh and this was a new truck. They fixed if. on my way home from the dealers (450miles) I did it again so I just drove home and took it to the dealer in my town. They could fix it(Lithia in Billings, MT.) So the dealed I bought if from sent a wrecker 450miles to get it and fix it and gave me a truck to drive. Well a year later same code same problem took it to lithia in billings. They put a new pedal in didnt fix it, then they put a ECM in didnt fix it. Now they say they wont work on it because it had a chip in it! I have the code and things to look for to fix the problem from Dodge and it says APP(Pedal), ECM, or Wiring problem Check ohms
at certain spots.
They have done they easy things now they dont want to do the hard part and check the wiring so they tell me they wont work on it!! What does a chip have to do with that.

Before I brought it down I called and talked to the service writer and he said they dont care about the stuff I did as long as it doesnt affect the problem im having. He said I dont see what the exhaust has to do with the go pedal. So I said are you sure Ill put it back to stock and he told me dont worry about it just bring it down we will take care of it. I guess I learned my lesson, never trust Lithia in Billings! What bothers me is this isnt the first cummins they have worked on for me that they couldnt fix. There techs cant fix anything unless they have a CEL and have to just replace parts. They cant trouble shoot anything. Ive had a 05' 600CR and a 99' 24v, and so far I can do a better job fixing and trouble shooting things then there techs that have 24 years experance that they brag about.

I have heard nothing but horror stories about them, I was considering getting a truck from them, but decided not. Did you go to Dave smith? sounds about right, 450 miles from you.
Yeah I bought it at Dave Smith saved about 6k. I think that made them mad. But I tried to get it from Lithia but they wouldnt deal.

Thanks to Shibbyutman for pointing you in the right direction?

Glad you got it fixed. I hate electrical problems.

Merrick
Yeah the pins where stuck between the conector and the plastic plug. I started at the pedal and just started checking all the way to the ECM. Thanks Shibbyutman!!:peelout
