Just got home from the dealership where I had p2000 come up for the third time with only 6500 miles on the truck :CRY: The first two times they cleaned the o2 sensors and sent me on my way. This time they said they had to order parts and would actully fix it. Have to drill a hole in the turbo and run solvent through it. He also said that they found the problem they where having and this was a new fix as of two weeks ago.


Anyone know anything about this?

usually the P2262 code is the turbo code. What you are speaking of is a common problem with the 6.7 turbos. They get sooted up real easy. P2000 is related to the O2 sensors, which you already know. Its all Soot related.

So do you know if this work they are going to do on it will actully fix the problem or is it going to keep doing this? Because it's getting kind of old going to the dealership. Thanks for all your help

Well, IMO its just a bandaid on the problem. They need to make some other changes to get it fixed. Likely with the EGR and DPF on there you may be making regular visits to the dealer for a cleaning. Wish i had better advice.

make sure they have flashed the truck to the AX level. There is a tsb that covers those code and others (imagine that). TSB 18-013-08

They gave me the AX when I took it in the first time. Thank you all for all the help. Still learning about this new 6.7 stuff had no idea a lot of this stuff was out there intill I joined here. Thank God for this forum:thumbsup

Hey guys I'm new to this site but have been reading alot of good info for some time. I had to chime in on this one since I've had the Turbo drilled like mention above and so far about 1k miles on it with no problems. However its just a matter of time. I've had 3 turbos swapped and still having problems with the soot build up. My rig has about 34k on it and I'm thinking of getting the DPF Delete from BADP. Anyone having good/bad experience with this DPF delete? It's nice being here , hope to learn more with you guys.

I dont think we are seeing many issues once the Deletes are installed.

P2000

I too have the P2000 code. have not taken it in too the dealer yet but I am about too. Does this problem affect performance. Also, I had the R30 recall done at about 15k and I swear it really hurt my MPG's and performance, anyone else have this recall done and experience the same problems??? Thanks
