P0483, Cooling Fan Speed
I've had this code for a year and it won't go away, no check engine. Im guessing it is just a hard code, and will not go away by itself. Am i right? Truck runs fine, always has, no problems.

Your issue is similar to one I've been experiencing. For some spare time reading checkout a thread I started titled "Sudden momentary power loss". It's currently on page 5 of this forum. It's taken me over a year to find the cause; partly because it wouldn't always throw a code (never a CEL) and partly because it was difficult to duplicate the symptoms until recently. Also, responses to my inquiries on this forum were very helpful in diagnosing the problem. I take the truck in to replace the fan clutch later today and that should be the end of my problems. Hopefully, your issues will be resolved much quicker than mine.
