Hey guys, Recently picked up a wrecked 09 and have been doing some “renovations” to get it where I want. I noticed the rear end seemed low, so I did some investigating. Turns out, somebody moved two of the spacers above the spring pack and removed the overload. I would like to put in a spacer to get back to original ride height, can anybody give me a thickness measurement on the overload spring?

Also, i have read many of the other threads it doesn’t appear that there is any negative impact to leaving the overload out and installing air bags to control payload. . .

My overload was 3/4”. I removed it once but decided to put it back and removed 2 of the 3 spacers. Kinda a reverse level, still a little higher in rear, looks nice :)

But yea 3/4” I would spruce some overloads if you can. Or grab a full progressive leave pack and enjoy

s10010001 is right on the money on the thickness, 3/4" on the middle part of the overload leaf.

My overload leaf and spacers has been off my truck years ago and installed air bags, made the ride much smoother for my liking. I also tow 30' travel trailer and a 55 gal fuel cell in the bed. No issues for me so far.. Goodluck
