I have an 03 with 4.10 and I am going to order a 5" FBD Straight pipe but I got to thinking. Would the drone be to loud at 65 and 70mph because of the high rpm. It would be great to hear from some guys with 4.10 rear end. Oh and I run about 2150rpm at 65.

i have 3.73 and i have no drone at 2100 rpm i have some right at 1500-1700 but that it i say buy it you willl love it

My truck is the same as yours and when it was straight piped it sounded great but their was too much drone cruising. I ended up putting in a straight thru muffler.

I just installed FBD's 5" exhaust and I love it. I'm surprised at how quiet it actually is. Nice deep low rumble. And I've tried too many exhausts...:thumbsup

edit- I have the muffler, so I have no idea how the straight pipe would sound... sorry
