So I've had a head shaved, surfaced and checked with the plans of putting on one of Hellmann's intakes.

I've been mulling this over and over deciding if I should do this or just sell the head.

Ultimately (for now!) I am shooting for 650-700hp DD. No racing or pulling. I know the intake is overkill but I think it looks awesome and it is beneficial overall for the engine.

So, should I say the hell with it and sell it, using the $2k for other items or should I stick with my original plan?

The other thing, if I sell it I can swap out to a 2nd gen setup much sooner as I'd avoid another $2k (intake and labor).

If it makes YOU feel good, do it. Or wonder forever what might have been.:kick:
Sounds to me like a significant other would like 2000. Haha

Well, for 650-700 a stock head will work just fine. But, the benefits from a race head are substantial considering the efficiency of it.

If you were looking to make 800+ hp, I'd say stick with the race head. But under that, I'd sell it and use the funds for other things.
