The tst is fuel only. Run the smarty and have fun.

Tst is a very simple fuel box but not well known. Very powerful. I think people are afraid of it.

Pulse width can't be changed on the vp trucks because of the mechanical injectors

I'm confused, I understand our injectors run off a cam, and the lobes determine the duration. But then what doe's the ECM on the VP44 do exactly???

The vp controls duration by keeping line pressure over the pop pressure for x amount of time...and no...b series injectors are hydraulically actuated by fuel pressure not cam actuated

I guess I'm thinking old school. You said pulse width with can't be changed, then said duration is controlled by the vp. Pardon my ignorance, but arn't they the same???
Thanks

From what I can tell they are the same, pulse width is how long the injector stays open, measured in ms. For example at idle the pulse width could be 2.5ms, meaning the injector is open for 2.5 milliseconds.

I also thought that is what the duration is.

Good point...i think they are basically the same thing but pulsewidth has to do with how long an electrical signal is sent to a solenoid like on top of a cr injector and duration is how long the fuel "signal" is sent to a mechanical injector...clear as mud? Haha
