I'm sitting on about 75 gallons of heating oil that is from about 7 years ago when I went to electric heating. I want to filter and separate it before running it through my $1000 vp44. What is the best way to do this? Should I run my pump hose through a filter/separator or just pump it into a strainer. Also not sure about filtering my wvo when I get my processor up and running. I want to strain out the big chunks at the waste bin. Just don't want wvo all over my garage. What's the most efficient way to filter this?
