Have a question I was wondering is rotella t6 5w-40 good oil for year around for my 05 Cummins I don’t do much towing and it does have alil over 200k miles

I run either Mobile Delvac, Valvoline or Rotella 5w40 year round due to I am in northern Illinois and the winters can get well below zero.
That said if you live in a warm climate a 15w40 could do you well, there are even 15w40 synthetic oils out now that are pretty good.

Yeah I stay out in Virginia Beach it gets cold but not below freezing hit it does get hot out here so I just didn’t know what grade to get

You can look up the weights and see what weight is best for your climate.

Any 5-40 or 15-40 oil will be juuuust fine.
