I have oil leaking from injector drive shaft area. Is this a bad o-ring. Its not running out just dripping from shaft.

That's odd...

Or are you looking lower at the power steering and vacuum pump???

Maybe, From underneath I see a openning with a shaft exposed with oiling dripping from the shaft. Wipe it off and watch it run down very slow.

Thanks,

Thanks guys!! I think you are all right. It looks like the vaccum pump. I recognize the openning. It shouldn't be too bad to do.

don't mean to hijack this thread but can any of you that have done the vacuum pump rebuild give me some tips on removing it from the truck. I bought Pete's kit and watched the dvd, looks real easy to fix once it's out but I attempted once to get the pump out and gave up. The bolt on the topside of the pump is impossible to get to especially with the control arm where it is. Is it easier to take out with the power steering pump or what?

Any little step by step by someone who's done it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks:thumbsup

I moved the wire harness off to the side for easier removal of the bolts. there is a bracket on the block to the pump that took me a minute to figure out why the pump wouldnt come out.
