So I saw a puddle of oil under truck right under the trans pan and it’s look to be clear oil coming off the top of the trans pan and around edges I thought Trans fluid was reddish and also notice the leak once I park the truck up nice first in drive way smells like trans fluid.

So I saw a puddle of oil under truck right under the trans pan and it’s look to be clear oil coming off the top of the trans pan and around edges I thought Trans fluid was reddish and also notice the leak once I park the truck up nice first in drive way smells like trans fluid.

A drop of new trans fluid is clear, a few ounces will look pink, a quart will look red, a gallon will look a much darker red. Color depends on use and volume.

Put a dye in the trans oil and find out if it is indeed atf. There are freeze plugs on the back of the head,one could be leaking and your seeing coolant.

Yeah thinks it’s trans fluid I wipe it and it had a red tint to it and smelt like trans the freeze plug looked dry
