Probably they did not, how is it done on the RAM? I tried key on and gas it 2 times like the GM's, but din't work.
Is it just a milage counter for the oil change or is it a dirty oil sensor?

There is a small laboratory in your oil pan that samples your oil everyday and tests it for contaminants. Well, not really, but some people seem to think there is a little gizmo that senses the quality of your oil. As a last resort you could always read your owner's manual.

Better late, than never: Copied & pated from 2012 manual.

Unless reset, this message will continue to display each
time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN
position. To turn off the message temporarily, press and
release the Trip Odometer button on the instrument
cluster. To reset the oil change indicator system (after
performing the scheduled maintenance), refer to the
following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position
(do not start the engine).
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three
times within 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.

NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you
start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not
reset. If necessary, repeat this procedure.
