Well, some of you may remember when I did this to my 08 Megacab. Some liked it because it was "Old School" but many did not like it because everybody is just into nice shiny things. I also tried it with the rims black and it looked much better but the tires were too wide and kept making the rings fly off the truck and it really looked like crap without them.
Anyways, I sold off my PowerWagon rims w/ 285s on them and am going back to stock tires and the same steel rims again once I find one or two more. I cannot decide if I should paint the rims silver, to match the rockers, Green, or black. I also have chrome centers and trimrings and also silver centers and some brushed trimrings that I can put on. I'm definitely going to do this so please don't suggest going a different route.
So what do you guys think would be the best combo?:confused013:
