Offroad design shackle flips

I have a set of offroad design shackle flips for a 89-98 chevy silverado with 6 inch super shackles. The leafs on my truck are 3 inches wide and the shackle opening is also 3 inches. Would i be able to make this work? Would the shackle flip effect the trucks ride and towing?

Arent there lift blocks or shims that have 2 separate holes to push the axle back into its stock spot? I havent seen any yet
