So in the winter time the truck has poor heat (2005 3500) the fan is a fresh replacement, plenty of air flow. The heat difference between the driver side and the passenger side is different ( more heat on the driver side ) and of course more cooling on the drivers side in the summer. I do not know if there is any way to improve the amount of heat coming from the truck in the winter but it almost feels like cold outside air is leaking in. In the summer it feels like warm outside air is leaking in both on the passengers side. :confused013:I do not want to take it to the dealer as the rates are outrageous. I am guessing it is a blend door, anyone else have this issue and how did they fix it or improve the heat output on their dodge.

I'll bet you have the same problem I just went through.
I live in the San Bernardino Mtns. at 6,500 feet and was freezing my tail off.

Read this link carefully.....it could easily be the same common problem a lot of us went through.....http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3...blowing-air-easy-recirc-door-replacement.html

I just made the repair this morning and my heater works so well now that I have to keep the fan speed on the first setting....no lie and it was 17 degrees this morning where I live.

I would take 5 minutes, pull the fan motor back down......put your hand up into the ducting and see if you can feel a loose part resting up inside the duct.
If you do.......follow the directions on "Stigs" thread I just posted.

Cost me $52.00 and about an hour my first time through the entire process.

I'll mention something else...if you pull the fan motor off and you find the loose broken re-circ. door resting up inside the ducting....go ahead and take it out and put the fan motor back on until you get the new parts.

Your heater will work well enough to heat the cab up until you make the fix.
