When i go to leave my driveway just by putting it in reverse the engine starts to stumble and sometimes dies if its not warmed up enough. It has the same effect if turn to sharp when reversing( im guessing cause of the extra load on the engine from the power steering). So far i've changed the fuel filter, adjusted the valves, and adjusted the idle to spec per manufacture's manual. Any other ideas would be helpful thanks.

Don't trust the dash tach, turn your idle up a little more.

I didn't use the dash tach. I stuck a piece of reflective tape from the hand-tach kit on the vibration dampner and measured the rpms from the hand tach

your idle is probably a little low still. When its cold outside my truck did the same thing. If you hold the brakes and burp the throttle it will stall right? If so raise your idle a bit more and it will be fine.
