I have searched through the post and I have not seen an step by step for the NV5600 removed and install. I know there is one for the G... I forgot the other transmission number =-O, but anyway I'm dropping in the duel street clutch from south bend this week end. Has anyone done this yet?
Same process buddy. Remove floor console, boots, shift tower from inside the truck. Pull driveshafts, reverse light plug, get trans jack under, remove crossmember, unbolt bellhousing, carefully pull trans straight back and lower. If you're 4wd, pull tcase with trans, but divorce on the ground and reinstall seperate.
Install is reverse. Just keep in mind that you need to be extremely careful stabbing it back in. Go slow, you're gonna get frustrated. Look at some YouTube videos, watching a G56 install is the same thing. Thoroughbred Diesel has a good video of installing a Valair clutch on a G56 and they cover the entire trans remove and install.
