I have a 2004 Dodge 2500 6spd and every time i go for reverse it either slghtly grinds or dosnt go into gear. Please post any tips or suggestions.

souds like you need either new hydraulics or a new clutch, how does it do when the truck isnt running?

My dad's truck did the same thing. It's been a while since I drove it, but I think it was cured after a new clutch.

mine does the same thing, but if i hold the clutch for about 2-3 seconds and then go in to reverse it doesn't grind. It never grinds into a forward gear though. Does your act the same way?

mine will do it from time to time. . .I normaly clutch it to get the input gear set spinning then try again. . .goes into gear after that.

flick third then reverse. itll work for ya every time even w/ worn synchros.
