No reverse lights on truck I bought. I by passed switch with jumper wire and the lights work so I know all wiring is good. So I changed reverse switch and still nothing. Anyone ever had this problem?

I had the problem when I had a NV4500. I ended up putting my backup lights on a toggle switch.

Thought about this but didn’t know if it would pass West Virginia inspection

It seems odd to that the method of illuminating the light would make a difference.

I've never been required to place any of my vehicles into reverse to pass a safety inspection. CT or NC. Gas or Diesel engine. 1997 or 2017 vehicles.
