Ok my put new master and slave clyinder in my truck. I can drive it now but it wont go into 1-3 i have to start in 4 and down shift to the gears. Once its in gear and drive it does ok except for 3rd grinds once in a while. and on occasion it doesnt want to go into 5th the first time i have to put it back in 4 and either clutchless shift to 5th or double clutch it. Any ideas where to start.

i started having problems like this when my clutch started going. then all the sudden i had no clutch, i broke the center out of it. i thought it was the trans the whole time

bad pilot bearing can also make it a pig to get through the gears

I dont know if its the clutch it wont slip.

Sounds like mine did when the syncros went to crap. Could still be a clutch though.

It can also take out input shaft, front seal and even damage bearings and gears inside of trans.

ok i need to do my rear main guess ill quit putting it off and just yank the tranny. thanks guys give me a place to start.
