hey, I am in the process of replacing the seals in my np 241 I am on the extension housing gasket which is a like a rubber and metal gasket, it appears to be in good shape but it had a small drip, I cant find any local can I put a little rtv to help it seal? thanks

I would put some black RTV on it. I don't see what it would hurt. If it don't you can repair that with it in the truck anyway.
