Hi all,

I've done it again. After installing my new injectors, I set the timing where I wanted it to try and compensate for the higher pop pressure of the new injectors. I think I got that about right. What I didn't do is remember to put the spring and whatever goes on top of the spring back into the pump after I got done with the dial indicator on #1 cylinder. I was like "damn, the truck smokes more than it did with the timing retarded, and it seems to be missing". I got my temperature gun out and hit the exhaust ports in the head. #1 was dead, so I pulled the injector line off and looked at the injector. I decided to pull the delivery valve and look at it. When I went to get the socket for the holder, I wondered what the little spring and other part in the timing set box were. Sure enough...problem solved. It runs pretty well now, though it still smokes more than I want it to. More afc tuning coming soon.

So, add "omission of delivery valve parts" to the list of screwups that can be made.
