save the money and buy the smarty a few in the classifeids just have to keep looking and stay on top of it the mp8 is a great stack for any programmer but at this point your best bet is to hold off and put that money in other areas. like a turbo or lift pump should be next before the mp8 u start dumping alot of fuel into a stock turbo you get high egts. and since you have a 3500 i figure you tow and alot of fuel and weight is a bad deal.

I dont tow that much. I didnt need a 3500 but the price was right and I love the truck. The must I tow is about 5600-6000lbs

Everyone keeps saying skip the jr and get the sr...I only have a stock tranny and dont want to buy a new one anytime soon. Is there a big gain running the sr on a low setting?

Smarty S06, airgog 150 lift pump, 90 hp injectors, at least a stage 2 CP3, and a 62mm turbo at minimum. That will give you usable horse power that will get better milage and towing. Before you buy anything think about later when your addicted. You don't want to buy parts that you have to buy again, only bigger.

As for your tranny, your going to have to do somethin sooner or later. You could get away with a torque converter and a modded valve body. FYI, a Edge on 75hp "F" ed my tranny.

I have been looking in TQ and VB, but that is something I cant install myself so i have to safe up for labor too.

with the smarty sr, is there low settings too, like the JR

Also if I where to look for the sr, what model should i get?

yes there are low settings on the smarty also. unless your running tnt, which starts at 100hp, which if your not looking for big gains yet you dont need. and you need to get the smarty s-06 for your truck.
