Hi folks,
I have narrowed a fuel supply problem down to the fuel tank module on my 1997 2500 Cummins. I have found that when I apply suction to the fuel supply at the tank (the larger of the two hoses), I get only air. The tank has plenty of fuel.
However, when the (clean) red screen and round disk are removed from the bottom of the fuel tank module, I can suck fuel.
What gives? I believe the disk (float?) has something to do with it. Am I right? I am almost ready to remove the screen and see what happens. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks, Brian
