dpf is gone, can i now run regular oil or does the egr have to disappear also or is there something else that would need to be removed. Does the egr delete help mpg's?

The EGR is what put's the ash in your oil. Get rid of the EGR and your okay to run regular oil.

The primary reason for using low ash oil was to minimize the amount of ash that would collect in your DPF. If your DPF is gone, you should be good to go as far as using regular oil and oil additives.
