no gauges no power to fuel pump

I have an 03 3500 4x4. Ran great everything worked. Had the truck down to the frame engine out and body off. Put it all bad together. Will crank over with key fine. None of the gauges work. If holding the trip button and turn the key on the gauges and lights will work through the full sweep. If I fill the fuel filter it will start and run fine for about 10 seconds and shut down like you turned the key off. Have tried to hook a scan tool up will not connect. Anyone have any ideas.
