Ok guys, the brake lights on my 01 quit working. I was wire brushing my trailer light plug in trying to get the trailer lights to work, and all of the sudden i had no brake lights on the truck. So i checked the fuses under the hood, and checked the fuses in the dash panel. Then changed the brake light switch under the dash. Still no brake lights. The turn signals work fine and so do the hazzard lights. I'm stumped. Any ideas? or any ideas on where to start next?

Did you check the bulbs themselves?

Ya, if the turn signals and the flashers work then the bulbs are good.

I JUST had the same problem.

its the 20 Amp squar Aura fuse in the Fuse panel in the engin compartment. It wont look blown...but check again....it is.

yea man SAME thing happend to me..the fuse wont look blown but it was..

Not really trien to jack this thread but i kind of have the same problem all my rear lights and what not work but not my reverse lights, not sure what to make of that
