Why a lift Pump? What is the benefit?
Because when you stack two tuners you are asking the stock lift pump to pump more fuel than it is really designed to.
Get some beastly replacement bumpers :thumbsup

I'm looking at you site. Are you talking about the FASS?

I'm only running an MP8 and not wearing out the back side of the throttle pedel :rof
Yes I was talking about the FASS:thumbsup. With just the MP-8 you don't really need one.

Is that going to woek on the 07.5's? I was looking at getting the DP-FASS-95/9-03 for the filtration more than anything.
It says 05 to 07.

I'm hijacking. . . . . But it's good info
It does work on the 6.7. It is labeled as a 5.9 kit but it fits the 6.7 just the same. The FASS people just haven't gotten around to updating the description or instructions to include the 6.7.

How can it increase economy besides eliminating the vapor.

Is there instructions somewhere for these?

another plus to a lift pump is a bit touchier throttle and even better fuel mileage.

edit: by getting pure fuel to the motor you are getting a much more efficient burn.

instructions for the airdog...

Very Good Thanks :thumbsup :thumbsup

It's not going to be tomorrow, but I saved the link
There are 2 benefits.

First, when you park your truck all night the fuel settles and all the air works out. As you start and drive the truck thru the day you aggitate the fuel in the tank it becomes more and more full of small air bubbles. Think about a fish tank that you see the little air bubbles in the water when you look. With a fuel system that works like the FASS or the AirDog you will have the same pure and perfect fuel at 5PM as you had at 5AM when you started the truck. Consistant pressure fuel supply, consistant fuel quality in terms of air entrapment, and consistant power and fuel economy with less chance of any damage to injectors from air/water in the fuel cause micro bursts in the nozzles.

The other issue that varies in importance based on the truck is pressure being fed to the injection pump. Some trucks are very delicate when it comes to low or lost lift pump pressure.

Side notes would be high capacity filters that do not need as frequent maintenance and yet filter as well or better than stock. The FF-1003 filter for the FASS 150 series systems are 3 micron filters. With the FASS or AirDog you would get rock solid fuel pressure and dependable service life with both having lifetime warranties now. Both would give you a much improved system over stock.

You wont be disapointed with a FASS or AirDog. I noticed a differance in my truck performace as soon as I installed my FASS. Plus the added saftey gives you a piece of mind.
afterpump what next? i love the aftermarket bumpers. i just hate to wait the truck down more then i have to.. and the bumpers are very expensive. ..
hey k-2 are anyone who knows the answer.. what is a cp3 pump ? explain. k-2 you running the injectors?
The CP3 is the injection pump. Next mod would be injectors or Meth. You could even go NOx if you are going for max HP.
is the water meth. make i big differance? anyone running it?
any mods for the cp3?
