Hey guys brand new CTD owner, 2008 2500 quad cab, just looking for the best all around performance package. I am sure that someplace on here it has been posted and I apologize... I am in Iraq so my net is pretty slow can only take what I can get. Anyone get any ideas on the best overall package intake, tuner, exhaust? Thank you

Where in the states are you from? I don't have a 6.7 but I know Bay Area Diesel Performance can hook you up with a great DPF Delete Kit. As for intake, anything other than stock will allow it to breath better. Programmer: Smarty will be coming out with the 6.7 version soon and that's what I'd get. Then you should be pushing out lots of power. You may want to check into Torque Converters and Valve Body's for your tranny if you want to push BIG power. Stay safe over there bro!! I've been there 3 times. Keep your head up and look forward to that CTD. :thumbsup

I am from near Buffalo, NY, my main issue is I don't want to void the warranty. Will the DPF delete or intake void the warranty, if my mind serves me right the smarty tuner is untraceable. thank you

Unfortunatly the DPF delete will void the warranty. Intakes usually are good with most dealers. Technically no aftermarket add can void your warranty unless they can prove it was the root cause of the problem. As you stated Smarty's are untraceable so you are good with it. It all depends on what you want t do with your truck, then you can get the right mods.

:welcome: You may have a problem with aftermarket voiding warranty, as many stealerships look for ways to get out of ponying up. But, I agree that aftermarket cold air and aftermarket expanded intake should not be a problem. I was born in Buffalo 63 years ago and told my parents that if they did not move I was leaving without them, so at age 4 moved to Mobile, Al. Keep your head up and your butt down. Thanks for the replies guys. Buffalo is a crappy area to live but its home. So I am looking at an exhaust system and a aftermarket intake. The dealship said that I would be fine with both of them. Any ideas? Basically trying to coax a little more mpg out and some mroe power out of it.

I would go with a DPF delete and an Edge Juice w/ Attitude to start with. Then maybe the MP-8 to help mileage a little more.

I'de go with the setup Compcowboy mentioned. The BADP delete kits are really nice. They are a little bit more $$$ than the H&S kits but are stainless. As far as your warranty goes... You can always swap out your DPF delete kit with your original exhaust when it's time to go to the dealership. It's only a few hours worth of work and most people are willing to do it just for the MPG gains.

The BADP code free kits won't be available until the end of the month. There is a special "pre-sale" pricing between now and June 15. 25671 is one of the full TBE 5" kits. There is also a full 5" TBE duals kit (25671DUALS) which is 5" all the way back then splits to a dual 4". :thumbsup

Thanks for the advice so far guys. This is what I am looking at going with the BADP 25671duals, the edge juice w/ attitude, and the MP8 tuner. Does that sound like a good set up? Also what about an EGR delete and can most mechanicaly inclined people but that on? I am in Iraq right now so I am ordering this and having it sent to my fiance's house oh how shes going to love it... I think she is into this more than I am. I would have an exhaust guy in her area but all the equipment on. Also going to go with the AFE intake kit.

You're on the right track with all those goodies. I would go with a dry intake filter. AFE makes those too. Also you may want to look into the Smarty. They're not out for the 6.7 yet but they will be soon. Awesome programmer!

I think your Juice/MP-8/AFE/BADP plan is a good one; it's what I run on my truck. No one knows when the smarty will be released, you could always add later when it does come out.

1-3 days shipping time depending on where in the midwest.
