The first one is me just mocking all the "Blowing black smoke" guys, in my parents front yard!! lol haha


The second one is me showing you guys how quick I over spool the stock hy from a dead stock and then cruizing at 45mph. The quad is set to defuel at 35lbs. Enjoy, I'll try to get some more of the truck uploaded in the next few weeks.:thumbsup:

Laugh it up while you can!!! next fall shes getting the same twins you just installed and at least 200's!!! haha The smoke is a pita.. it was cool for a week and now it just sucks..

my 150's are a pain to keep smoke under control...it blacks out the road under light acceleration. soon as the turbo's spool it cleans up though.

yeah i know what you mean, you would think smaller injectors = less smoke. but it the case of twins it = turbo lag which = more smoke.

It is awfull if i'm pulling out into traffic! But just driving it is fine.... It does make it nice for tail gaters though!! I was just bored after changing the transmission fluid in my car.. Plus the cummins is off the road for the next couple months so i gotta take it out and flog it every once in a while...hahahaha

thats because the tst doesnt add fueling till it starts registering boost pressure

rofl today several people on I-5 slammed on their brakes...I opened her up a little and turned on maximum fueling....holy F*&#!!!! blacked out the whole damn highway for like 200rpm which went pretty quick but the amount of smoke in that short burst before the turbos lit at 1300 was massive! then the truck started walkin sideways accelerating :peelout: then it defueled at 45psi :doh: damn turbo break in period anyway.:kick:

do a boost launch and put it in drive. then shoot the video of the smoke. lol mines rediculous. ANd your truck is almost identical to mine..lol

I can't do boosted launches in 2wd... lol.. If you listen close in the second video you can hear the tires break loose at the end of first and shift into second still spinning. haha I get a kick out of the people who come on here and say they can't light up the tires from a dead stop with the quad or edge..:peelout

i would be hard pressed to believe that the quad fueled as hard as the tst comp does mine is insane, and i def like the fact that it smokes less before boost, put and programmer on it and that all changes, but i feel that the timing looses hp good on the top end so i just run the tst and the 150's

I think that you would be surprised. The quad hits hard. You gotta try it before knocking it to hard:thumbsup:

if you want smoke and have an older adrenaline w/pulse, I have a tune that will black out the road on any truck...

older comp 2 1k rpm fueling tune (maximum fueling from 1000rpm to 3200rpm) it was released after they fixed the box overheating bug so it shouldn't void the quad warranty either.

Its the stock tune they sent it with... just a few little tweaks by me.. I can't think of the settings off the top of my head but i know the pump stretch is 18-1900, the boost is like 25psi, tps for can and bus fueling is 0 to 70 and timing is 8. I have two tunes saved, that one is my play tune, my daily driving tune is a little less agressive.
